It’s time for our Sunday morning chat. On Sundays, I ramble about what’s been going on, what the rest of the family and I have been reading and watching, and what I’ve been writing. Some weeks I share what I am listening to.

What I/we’ve been Reading
Currently:
I am reading Operation Restoration by Kari Trumbo, and will finish it this week.
It is pretty good but not necessarily what I enjoy reading right now. I am reading it for Clean Fiction Magazine, though, and I’m glad to have been introduced to the author.
I also just started The Mysterious Affair at Styles by Agatha Christie
Little Miss and I are almost done with The Secret Garden and I am listening to Around the World in 80 Days with The Boy.
Just Finished:
I just finished Apple Cider Slaying by Julie Anne Lindsey and enjoyed it – even if I thought the end dragged a bit.
I plan to have a full review next week.

What We watched/are Watching
I enjoyed watching a couple episodes of Lark Rise to Candleford this week because the scenery and cinematography is always so pretty.
I watched an episode of Poirot without my husband, which was weird because we always watch it together. He was at work, though.
Last night we watched the 2010 version of True Grit.
What I’m Writing
I am working on the third book in my Gladwynn Grant Mysteries. Books one and two are available on Amazon as an ebook and paperback. They will be available on Barnes and Noble June 1st and will be in ebook on Kobo at that time too.
I am also working on correcting Cassie, which you can pre-order here. Cassie is the eighth book in the Apron String Book series, which is being written by eleven authors. You can learn more about them here.

Hahaha…am I the only one who saw the toilet with the “cigar” hanging out of its mouth? I read several Agatha Christie novels back in the day, and I could never figure out the killer. She was a master at the red herrings, wasn’t she?

My boys and I listened to Around the World in 80 Days together; we really enjoyed it and then we watched the movie and compared the two.

I love your spring green that’s filling in everything there! Our leaves have all popped out this week too. I’m looking forward to reading “Cassie.” I went to pre-order it & Saw that I already had! And my week of reading is going to be so fun this week! I’ve already been thumbing through my favorite Gladys Taber book! ❤️

I love that you have a book going with your daughter and with your son. I have never read Agatha Christie; I really need to pick up one of her books! I just love Lark Rise to Candleford! A book club I am in is reading this during the summer and I can’t wait! Have a great week!

I have been reading some books that take place during WW1 that deal with coding. They are inspirational fiction which is usually my preferred type. Very interesting as I never really thought about how important that was during wars.

I started a book like that – I forgot the name – but had to finish another book and then wandered off and never finished the book. I need to go back to it!

I wonder where the Poirot series is airing. My husband loves mysteries.

The Cat Who series is on my TBR list. I’ve heard so many great things about it and this one with the ghost sounds perfect. Enjoy all of your reads and have a great week! 🙂

i finishing the defy the night series this week. I got a lot of books in from young adult book central that i need to read and review. I finish the iron widow this week which was a back list netgalley title and was quite surprising. Have a great week.
