  1. I finally got around to reading Village School by Miss Read this year—I liked it so much. Now I want to read more of her books.

My mom was a huge Mary Stewart fan, and I read all those when I was a girl. I’d like to read some of those books again. I bought The Moon-Spinners when it was on sale a while back…maybe I’ll read that one.

  2. I started J.R.R. Tolkien’s series many, many years ago but just could not get into it. I think the movie only made it worse. I enjoy my books short and sweet. I’m interested in hearing your thoughts on ‘Tis Herself. That should be a good one.

  3. I have not read any of these. My next read (after I finish these last two Christmas books I’ve started) is a non-fiction book called How to Winter.
