The books I read this spring were:

The Blue Castle by L.M. Montgomery (a reread)

Whispering Walls by Mildred Wirt (A Penny Parker Mystery from the 1940s. Juvenile genre.)

Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie

Crooked House by Agatha Christie

Return of the King by J.R.R. Tolkien

The Singing Tree by Kate Seredy

Heidi by Johanna Spyri

Damsel in Distress by P.G. Wodehouse

The Enchanted April by Elizabeth Von Arnim.

A Caribbean Mystery by Agatha Christie

Nancy’s Mysterious Letter by Carolyn Keene

Murder, She Wrote: Aloha Betrayed by Jessica Fletcher and Donald Bain

The Labours of Hercules by Agatha Christie

The Cat Who Brought Down the House by Lilian Jackson Braun

Out of this list, these were my favorites:

A Caribbean Mystery

The Enchanted April
