Top Ten Tuesday is hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
Today’s prompt is: Books on my spring TBR list
I don’t often stick to my TBR for any particular season (see my post from yesterday for more info on that) but I like to make the list to remind me of books I’d like to read next. I consider it my “choose from” pile.
I have a list of 14 books I plan to choose from for Spring, but I know that list will change and adapt throughout the next two and a half months.
For today I will list my ten main books and then four “honorable mentions” so to speak.

Village Diary by Miss Read
All Things Wise and Wonderful by James Herriot
The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien
Spill the Jackpot by Erle Stanley Gardner
Emily of New Moon by L.M. Montgomery
Between The Sea and Sound by Amanda Cox
‘Tis Herself by Maureen O’Hara
Sabotage at Cedar Creek by Janice Thompson
Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke
The Littlest Voyageur by Margi Preus
Four others I might choose from this spring include:

The Pale Horse by Agatha Christie
Grantchester: The Shadow of Death by James Runcie
Passport To Romance by Betty Cavanna
Finding Lady Enderly by Joanna Davidson Politano

This is a tantalizing list! I’ve read all of the James Herriot books. Loved them all!

I read some of the James Herriot books back in the day, but somehow I don’t think I read them all. And I definitely want to read Emily of New Moon.

The stories are similar in some books so it can get confusing on which ones you read I think. I’m so excited that my copy of Emily of New Moon came today! Yay! I can start it before March is over at least.

I haven’t heard of most of these, but I hope you love them all!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I have several Miss Read books on my actual shelves, but not this one, Lisa. I have never read Pale Horse by Agatha Christie, but must get to it. Happy reading!
P.S. I can only organise my reading a week in advance and even then I have trouble sticking to my plan! 💖📚

Yeah, like I’ve said — I like making lists but I don’t really stick to them very well most of the time. I’m already doubting this list, Sandy. Ha!!

I love the James Herriot stories. I’ve read the first Grantchester book, but I’d say I actually prefer the tv series. Enjoy them! 🙂

I have heard that about the Grantchester books so we will see how it goes.

Interesting mix! I’m mostly stuck on vintage crime at the moment.

I want to read some of the stuff you’re reading so it might shift some of this around. I just finished an Erle Stanley Gardner and it was pretty good but convoluted. The writing was great though.

I have and need to eventually read that book by Amanda Cox as well. Happy reading!

Those “baking” books look good! I really don’t know what I’ll be reading next. Our library is undergoing construction so the parking lot is not easily accessed. I’m not supposed to use my iPad as much for reading. I do think I’ll try to get to the library anyway.

Climb through the construction! Get that hard hat on and get in there! Move, soldier! Move! 😂😂
