Last year Erin from Still Life, With Cracker Crumbs and I watched several Christmas movies and wrote about them. We had a two-month-long Christmas-themed celebration and it was lovely.
Today I thought I’d share with you a list of those posts so you can find some old favorites you haven’t seen in a while or maybe some new Christmas watches. I’m also going to add any Christmas movies I’ve written about in the last couple of weeks.
You can click on whichever title catches your attention and see what I said about them.
I don’t remember if I shared where you can find the movies in these posts but I can tell you that I watch most of my movies on either Amazon Video, Paramount, or Max, but sometimes I can also find them for free on Tubi or YouTube.
The Man Who Invented Christmas
Emett Otter’s Jug Band Christmas and A Charlie Brown Christmas
Are any on this list that you have enjoyed or plan to watch? What others would you add?

I have already seen “We’re No Angels” this year, a big favorite of mine.
An absolute must is also “The Bishop’s Wife” with Cary Grant.
Here in Germany we also have two movies that are on TV every year, usually even several times, so you won’t be able to miss it – the 1980 version of “Little Lord Fauntleroy” with Alec Guinness and a Czech Cinderella version called “Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel” = “Three Hazelnuts for Cinderella” with a very different Cinderella. They weren’t originally Christmas movies, but have become those just because of the tradition to watch them on Christmas.
I also used to watch “Scrooged”, but I have become so tired of Bill Murray that I took it off my list.
From your list I only know “It’s a Wonderful Life”, the Muppets and Charlie Brown (the last one also a must for me, makes me very mushy every time). And part of “The Man Who Invented Christmas”.

Okay so I am sure I watched The Bishop’s Wife last year but I can not for the life of me remember how it ended! So now I have to watch again.
So you are from Germany? this is a weird question but I have a friend who was an exchange student from Berlin to hear over 25 years ago. Is there any kind of search base in Germany to find people? I know where she used to live and that her husband passed away in a tragic accident but I can not find her online at all.

Holiday Inn has always been a favorite of mine, and I’ve always prefered the version of White Christmas from the movie over other versions. One of my family favorites has always be The Muppet Family Christmas, which we can only find on YouTube to watch.

I am going to hijack Lisa’s thread to tell you Pam that I can never get my comments through on your blog and I don’t know why! It says submitting comment for hours but never gets submitted. 😦

My Top Ten was Ten Christmas Movies I watch year after year and some of these are on that list. I had others suggest movies and there were several more. After reading your list, there are even more. I watch right up to New Year’s so might fit a few of these in. Great post, Lisa.

I hope you find some extras to watch. I missed watching The Man Who Invented Christmas but I hope to watch it before the New Year’s because it has become one of my favorites.

Oh, this is a good list! I remember when Emmett Otter came out. I had a meeting that night and missed it. I had to wait an entire year (or maybe even longer) to see it. Thanks for sharing it, Lisa!
