I thought I’d share our month of May in photos for something different today.

Welcome to my blog! I am a wife and mom from Pennsylvania who also happens to write. I have been writing for 25 years, fourteen of those for smalltown newspapers in rural Pennsylvania and upstate New York. When I'm not writing about love, faith, and family life in a small town, I'm taking photographs and homeschooling my two children and also writing and publishing fiction. I blog a little bit about a lot of things on my blog Boondock Ramblings at www.lisahoweler.com.

Beautiful!!!! I love this post, what amazing pictures! Are these taken from a phone or camera and if you wouldn’t mind me asking what kind?
Also that smaller shed with the metal roof that shows up in many of your pictures is that some sort of a garden shed? It’s so cute right along with everything else in your photos!!❤️what a blessing seeing these today!

I shoot with a Nikon d750 and primarily a Nikon 50 mm 1.8. The shed is a garden shed but my husband wants to turn it into a man cave 😉 I’m hoding on to it for a garden shed or a writing cave for me.
Thanks for stoping by and commenting!

Stunning photography, as always. I love how each group of photos told a story in itself. I wish I had half the picture taking talent you do!!

I’ve been photographing life around me for 24 years so I’ve had some practice. I finally let go of perfection and I enjoy it a lot more! Now it’s just fun!

We are in a smaller town and were a little removed from some of the craziness but also being at home helped us have a nice May
