Tag: Easter Sunday

He is risen! He is risen indeed!

On April 4, 2021April 3, 2021 By Lisa R. HowelerIn everyday musings2 Comments

Happy Easter everyone!

Enjoy some Resurrection Sunday music and videos today in place of my usual Sunday Bookends post.

The first one is my favorite Easter Song and it’s called … yes, Easter song.

(Originally sung by Dan Francisco)

About Me

I'm a mom, wife, writer, photographer, and former journalist. I write a little bit about a lot of things. I enjoy old, classic movies (think before 1970), mystery books, and I have an eclectic taste in music. I'm also the author of the Gladwynn Grant Mystery series. Welcome to my blog and feel free to poke around.

The trees are starting to change color where I live. Beautiful red and orange oranges and some yellows mixed in. It looks like we might have some brighter colors this year. Thanks to colder nights.
As usual my reads for the month were mostly mystery but also had a couple of others thrown in. I’ve been averaging four books a month but read a couple more this month. A blogging friend was the first to suggest to me that I read Gladys Taber.
📖🔎 The book suggestion for September’s read for the 2026 Agatha Christie Reading Challenge was Endless Night, a book that Agatha called her favorite. It is not a strict “who-done-it” with one of her detectives. Instead, it is a standalone novel that I would call a psychological mystery.
