This November I am holding my own Nancy Drew November event and plan to read six Nancy Drew books. I probably will really only get to three, but I’m being ambitious and saying six.
The books I picked out for the event are:
Pure Poison
The Triple Hoax
The Whispering Statue
The Mystery of the Fire Dragon
Nancy’s Mysterious Letter
The Clue in the Jewel Box
I am going to start with The Mystery of the Fire Dragon.
I will also be watching the Nancy Drew-centered episodes from the second season of The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries show from the 1970s.
Have you read any of these books?
If you want to join in with me in reading the books or watching the show feel free!

What a fun idea, and I love the cover illustrations on the ones you’ve chosen. I will definitely buy the next ND I see in a charity shop and try it! But not this month as I’m trying to only read nonfiction …

It definitely sounds like a lot more fun (to me) than nonfiction November. Not that nonfiction is bad or anything but I rarely get excited to pick a nonfiction book back up so I can finish sooner.

Non-fiction is not something that elicits excitement in me either, even though I’ve read some good non-fiction books. I probably only read one or two non-fiction books a year though.

As difficult as it is for me to read my other books, I’m not sure I’ll be joining in. But, I’ll definitely read your reviews!

Oh! So fun! I will definitely join in. I was going to restart the Nancy Drew series from the 1990s the other day, but decided against it. But, maybe now I will. I will get a few of the books to read as well. I had quite the set when my daughter was younger, but I got rid of them all when we moved. I should restart the collection!

Yay! I should have mentioned that people can read whichever Nancy Drew they want to read too. They are sometimes a bit silly to me but at the same time they really do have good stories!

This sounds so fun! I’ll try to fit in a book and movie or show watch. It’s been a while since I read a Nancy Drew mystery, but I loved them growing up!
